This project uses an emu egg with the clock at the front and a door at the back. The door has been decorated with a silk print, pearls and gold braid. The front of the egg and face plate feature gold mesh, findings, pearls and braid. The project is completed with a pretty finial and then displayed on a tall gold stand. Although it is slightly more complex than many of our other kits, it is certainly within the capabilities of a patient beginner. So do not be put off if you have only had a little egging experience.
